I'm auditioning for the show tonight. I have no clue what it's about or what the music like so I would love someone to brief me:)

It's about the history and dissolution of a friendship among three show-biz types. The story spans several decades and is chronologically told backwards. In addition to the three principals, there are numerous supporting roles that arise from the ensemble.
You'd do well to audition with a contemporary theatre song that shows off acting chops, complexity of characterization and a facility with language.
