Florence Henderson of the "Brady Bunch" has revealed that she is coming back to Broadway in MerryGoRound.

Rehearsals are to begin in July with a Broadway bow expected in September.

I really can't wait to be able to see her on the stage.

Amazingly exciting! I saw her the other day at the talkback for FANNY and thought how wonderful it would be to see her back on stage again but doubted it would ever happen!

Hope this goes well. Will Marcia be in it too?

Another Sherman brothers show is reason enough for celebration

I wonder if Disney will get around to brining some of their other movies to Broadway.

Florence alluded to this in the interview I did with her for BWW. She couldn't speak about it in detail at the time because plans didn't solidify until her trip to NYC last week.

You did not write this sentence, English teacher: "It was certainly through the media of television...". See me after class.

What are you talking aout Namo?

I must admit, though, that I'd relish a good spanking from you after class--or even during class.

I truly hope this comes to fruition! I saw Florence last night at Joe's Pub and she was truly outstanding. The woman certainly can still sing and she has such a wonderful sense of humor about all the things she's done. (A screen came down and played her Wesson commercials, and she did a group sing-a-long of the Brady Bunch theme song!)

It's such a delight to listen to her cast recordings and I will absolutely be first in line to see her return to Broadway where she belongs.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

Whizzer, you've piqued my admittedly failing memories. Apart from Fanny, what other shows was she in that were recorded? Forgive me a senior moment. PS. Let's get together sometime soon -- what's on your agenda?

Hi Ed-

Yes she is on The Girl Who Came To Supper (brilliantly stopping the show/cast recording with "The Coconut Girl"), the '67 South Pacific and a '64 Oklahoma with John Raitt and Phyllis Newman! She was also in The Song of Norway movie, but that soundtrack hasn't been released on CD yet...Kritzerland are you listening?!
