This has got to be a joke. Metcalf as the mother? Oh what a horror.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I'm not knocking Metcalf's acting. She is a very competent actress. She doesn't have the warmth to bring to the character and the character's humor will come across as bitterness.
