I'm really excited for this production. Ceveris and LuPone are great choices. I'm especially excited about Patti LuPone, though---anyone who saw her in the concert version would be. Her voice is glorious on that score, and she brings something to sarcastic and amazing to the role.

I'm incredibly pleased with the casting so far. I can't wait for this production to mount.

I'm fine with LuPone but I really really really really wanted Brian Mitchell Stokes for the role

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I am SO relieved this news is *FINALLY* "official". I found out about it when I saw Passion at the beginning of the month. Ah! This is SUCH a BIG deal! Can I just say how FREAKING excited I am about this!

Michael is going to be WONDERFUL. He's gonna tear that triangle up!
