Michael Cerveris in THE TICK

Just started catching up on the rebooted/reimagined THE TICK on Amazon, and was surprised to see Michael Cerveris as a slightly trashy, Egyptian-themed gang leader in a tracksuit. The man is a chameleon! I've always enjoyed seeing his protean appearances on stage and screen, because there always seems to be no "there" there in the best possible way. There is no underlying Michael Cerverisness, the way that when Bowie went full character-actor there was nothing there but the character.

Did anyone else see this gleefully weird show?

I have one episode left and am quite enjoying it. I was surprised (and happy) to see him pop up in it.
