Could you mean Jason Robert Brown? This is from his website:
"A new animated series on Nickelodeon, "Wonder Pets" sends Tuck Turtle, Ming-Ming Duckling and Linny the Guinea Pig on adventures throughout the world to save animals in trouble. And they rescue the animals in song! Every episode is a twelve-minute operetta written by some of musical theater's finest. The first episodes air on Friday 3/3, and JRB's episode (written with Larry Hochman), "Save the Unicorn!" premieres at 12 noon that day. The whole show is unspeakably adorable. Want more info? Here's the Daily News article about the show's launch."

If your refering to 'the Wonder Pets', we watch it on Noggin, channel 123 on cablevision's Digital IO.
The music is great and my kids both 3 1/2 love it. They discovered it and now we tape it for them (DVR). Each episode is liek a little Opera where the wonder pets go off and save some animal. They both sing along and have started to act out the different roles. It's a great intro to the operatic format for them. Kind of like the old Bugs bunny Operas only geared toward a much younger audience.
