There is a fun article about Michael McKean in this week's Entertainment Weekly! I saw Harvey in it, but am wondering how one of the masterminds behind SPINAL TAP in doing as a big 'ole queen in HAIRSPRAY?

i saw hairspray after the aids walk last weekend. micheal mckean did a good job, but the show is very different. he makes the show a lot more like the movie with his take on the character. also most of the lines that harvey emphasized with his voice changes are kind of lost on him. carly was wild and a lot of fun to watch. shes got a great voice. brooke did ok as penny too, but the audience wasnt responding to her like they should have.
