Ouch. Geogre cant really go all that high. He's a bass, why force a bass to be a tenor?

Nah, I liked the pun. We agree the current Wizard is crap... Any other complaints with cast members?
I hate the new Boq, he's too old looking.

I actually like him (I have a review in my blog).
I thought some of his line deliveries were better than Chris'.

Wow. Seems like you had fun. Yeah, Chris's voice is amazing, I want it! If it were a person I'd marry it. Hmmm... Like when you his devilery was more.. shy?

Sean was too "Jim Carey" for the Wizard, for me. He sometimes scares me with those facial expressions and how he would whip his head around, like he was fighting off a rabies attack, at Elphaba during "Wonderful."
JLT...well,... she's leaving soon, so, let's not comment except to say that the "Stuart" sketch on MADTv must be her passion and favorite thing to watch.
Can someone tell me why Kathy Deitch annoys me? I dunno' if it's her hard, pant-like breathing during dance sequences or her facial expressions. Help me out.
Michelle, she is a great Nessa. However, it seems as if she is either dead-on or strictly appropriate, but never "bad." For instance, her "Just her and me...the Wicked Witch of the East. We deserve each...other..." can be fierce or just, "Oh, ok." But never bad.

LOL Kathy Deitch annoyed me sooo much too! She was a beast when I saw the show at the end of April. Someone should tell her that she is in the ensemble..and the ensemble supports the leads. She needed to be sedated :-P

Kathy's voice is fierce. I loved her.
I loved JLT as well. I thought her voice was sheer perfection.

If Kathy is the same person I'm thinking of, her vocals are amazing. Does anyone know why most u/s or standbys for Elphaba are also for Nessa, yet Michelle was never an u/s or standby for Elphaba? Just wondering...think she could handle it?

JLT is nice as nice can be.
The wizard is supposed to be evil - and of the three I saw, Sean pulled it off the best.

I love Kathy too.
I'm not sure why Eden and Shoshana were also for Nessa. Maybe their parts are vocally similar and all the scenes Nessa is in have Elphaba in them, so it's not as difficult because they probably know most of Nessa's lines anyway. Except Saycon isn't an understudy for Nessa because of Saycon's physical appearance anyway.
Michelle could probably handle it--she's got a great voice.

Kristy Cates is my favourite Elphie. She brings something to the role that I haven't seen anybody else bring... and it's very obvious that she's classically trained when she sings (she's not just screaming like others who will remain nameless).
Kristin's forever my favourite Glinda. Watching JLT is a bit like watching her try to be Kristin trying to be Glinda. Or a life-size Kate Monster on crack. The overly exaggerated voice gets to me after a while - not to mention her coloratura is not as good. But nothing against her - I enjoyed her in Footloose and Urinetown.
Oh, and I love Kristoffer Cusick.

That's JLT's real voice. She even made fun of it at the stage door.

I have to say, I'm not really a fan of Hearn's wizard, b ut the last time I saw Wicked, he was amazing. I dunn o, his voice was clear and he actually convinced me to like him as the wizard.
As for JLT, I LOVE her as Glinda.
And, does anyone else think Michelle Federer doesn't have much control over her voice? I mean, she does have control, but sometimes it sounds loike her voice is trying to climb out of her. Strange.
