Would she have been better than Ally Sheedy?
One imagines a lot of people were in "talks," but that's a long way from anything actually happening.
As for better than Ally, you could win that contest on attendance alone.
I don't think I've ever been happier that a show was closing. Oh my god.
I think it's a brilliant idea. She would have been incredible.

Except she can't act...and I'd rather have an actor that can't sing instead of a singer who can't act. I actually think Miley is an interesting artist and singer...but she's not an actor.
I think she can be a very good actor when she wants to be.
I'm not even that big a fan, I just think it's an inspired combo.

She certainly IS an actor. She became famous as Hannah Montana and even made some movies.

Being an "actor" doesn't mean one can act. You know that, right?

wow. talk about dodging a bullet.
"Would she have been better than Ally Sheedy?"
Hon, I would have been better than Ally Sheedy.
I'd love to see Miley on Broadway at some point but I don't think Hedwig would have been a great fit for her.
Also, Miley can act.

Being resistant to something new and different and being happy it's closing is definitely keeping with the message of the show.
lol, Finding Namo. They are getting bored with their hate for Taye so Miley is the new target.

Right?
Soooooooooo conservative!
I wonder who Hedwig would vote for in the upcoming elections. lol
For a show about diversity, every Hedwig thread becomes the same.

Be who you are (as long as it's exactly what others expect)!
I think she could have made a great Yitzhak, not Hedwig. I'd love to see her on Broadway one day!
That's a lot of celebrity for a sidekick role, though.

if she played Hedwig, they could've let her tongue play Yitzhak.
She would indeed make a better Yitzhak than Hedwig. I could actually see her turning in a great performance as Yitzhak.
She would be a better Yitzhak than Hedwig. Yikes
Now that you guys mention it I can actually totally see her as Yitzhak. Not that I'm a big fan of Miley, but I think she could be good in that role.

I"d love to see her play Yitzhak. But on another vein, I have never seen a tongue that big and long.
