Hi. I was just wondering how the Millie tour is now. It is coming through the Fort Worth area again and I was thinking about taking some friends to see it. I saw the tour with Darcie in it and loved her as millie. Who Is Millie? Is she any good? Are any of the leads good?
My question is has anyone seen it as of late and would the recommend it. Should I pay money to see see it again?
I saw it about 2 months ago. It was the first time I have ever seen the show, but I had a great time at it. The actress who played Millie was amazing, as was the actress in the part of Miss Dorothy. The rest of the cast was ok, Mrs. Meers wasn't that great though.

I saw it in October and wasn't overly impressed. It was entertaining enough, but I think it's one of those shows that needs to have an absolutely spectacular cast because the material itself isn't that fantastic, and the cast I saw wasn't spectacular. The actress who's playing Millie now is Alexis Ellis.... anyway, here's the schedule/cast info:
Sweetestsiren, I want to say thanks for that link, I was wondering about this tour myself, as you might know (from my icon) I'm a big fan of this show from the origional Broadway production, and I'm allways interested in any other rendition. When I looked at the tour itinerary, all I can say is wow! All those one night stands, Kalamazoo, Talahassee, and what? No Paducah! Anyway, I have my tickets for Newark, seems like a long way off, but I really can't wait. Also, I have heard from another fan about Courtney Elise Brown (Miss Dorothy) and I will be watching for her.
The current Millie is Alex Ellis...I attended a summer program with her last summer and she is incredible. Shes a very gifted comedienne...I'm sure you'll enjoy her performance!
alex ellis was a great millie....however the miss dorothy i saw (i dont know her name) had a pretty voice but didn't do much with the role..it was disappointing. everyone else is great though, the dancing is different from the equity tour/bway, but still fun. :) my friend is Fang Du (who plays bun foo) so look out for him :)
I was lost 'til I heard the drums, then I found my way
i saw Millie last year...was that tour an equity tour??? the one headlined by Darcie Roberts??? does anyone know???
