Hello. I live a few hours away from NYC, and am travelling there this weekend to see Misery with some friends. We'd like to try and do the stage door afterwards, but had a few questions. From what I've been able to tell, it seems like Bruce Willis only signs for the one side of the crowd, usually the right. Is this correct from most people's experience? Does Laurie Metcalf sign much, and if so, does she tend to stick to one side or the other? Also, has anyone noticed if they will only sign things strictly related to Misery? Any info would be greatly appreciated, as this will be our only chance to see the show, and we'd had to mess up our opportunity afterwards, haha. Thanks!

All you can do is show up and hope for the best. There's no rhyme or reason to if/when they sign. Anecdotally, Bruce has signed some or none depending on his mood. Metcalf HATES crowds and is very aloof. She avoids the whole scene if she can. Be against the barricade or surrender the dream.

When I saw it he signed on both sides for a while, and signed 2 playbills for me.

We saw the show on jan4 and they both could not have been nicer.
we were at the front and both of them signed on both sides.
bruce even wished us all a happy new year and answered some questions I had.
Laurie seemed more reserved actually looked frightened and very shybut signed for all.You felt as though she was still in character!
they kissed each other which was cute as well!
