LOL My partner, not I, heard this while listening to Garland's performance "Palace Medley" at the 1951 Palace engagement the first time.

First off, the lyric is:

...that vaudeville's back at the Palace, and I'm on the bill!"

Partner heard:

...that vaudeville's back at the Palace, and I'm off the pills!!!"

Uh, no. I don't think Judy would be quite as forthcoming with her audiences, especially in 1951. LOL

LOL That's histerical! It would have been great if she actually did say that.

As far as "The Way We Were," for the longest time I used to think the lyric went..."Like the corners of my mind."

In Chicago:
Actual lyric: "Find a flask, We're playing fast and loose"
I heard: "Climb up fast, we're playing fast and loose"

Actul Lyric: "Oh, you're gonna see her sheba shimmy shake"
I heard: "Oh, you're gonna her her shake the shimmy shake"

In Like the Eagle from Bombay Dreams there's a bit that I hear as:

"Oh vagina! Oh vagina! There's a place that we can take you.. Oh vagina! Oh vagina!"

Seriously, I can't work out what it is but it makes me laugh so much.
