Anyone know what Molly Ranson is doing? She's so talented but is never used...
Can't wait for Bad Jews. Missed it last season.

^She really, really would. Especially with Derek Klena as Fiyero and Jeanna de Waal as G(a)linda.
I hear she is stripping at SHOWWORLD with Lena Dunham.

I guess she wanted to have money poured on her instead of a blood projection.
She can't sing Elphaba. She only learned to sing for Carrie.

False. She was in CAP21 at NYU for a year, but dropped out because she was finding work. She was apparently a very good singer at LaGuardia too.
I image she'd be a lot like Nicole Parker.

Shbrt, that is totally incorrect. I went to LaGuardia with her, and yes, she has been an excellent singer as long as I have known her.
Anyway, even though she would be a very good Elphaba, she is much more suited for Glinda.

Bettyboy, thats really a horrible thing to say, not sure why you would say that. she is an amazing talent. what are you doing with your life that makes you so hateful?

Oh Bettyboy, Show World has been gone for years. It's a spook house attraction now. Which explains why you saw Lena Dunham stripping there.

With all due respect, bwaylvsong, Molly does not have the vocal chops for Elphaba. I have personally known Molly for several years because of a mutual friend, and I think she'd be the first one to tell you that her voice is not what she has going for her...

^which is why she would be a much better Glinda. I wouldn't say she "doesn't have the vocal chops" for Elphaba, but she is an actress who sings, and her singing is more about the words than making pretty/impressive sounds.

I saw her in Carrie, the Musical and she was FABULOUS! She has an incredible voice! She was also very nice to my daughter and me after the show. I hope her career soars!
