Just home from Pippin, Molly freakin WORKS!!!!! Very good performance. I hope she becomes the permanent if, when Charlotte decides to leave. Amazing job.
Edit. As pointed out in another thread, she was also in on Tuesday.

Posted: 7/17/13 at 11:24pmThat's great news to hear! I would love to see her as the Leading Player in the future. Now, did she read too young for Fastrada? Or did her make-up make her a believable middle-aged woman?

I feel like because she's so young, the dynamic between her and the older Mann would be so much better in light of the "rich older men with young wives" thing that has been pretty common over the last few decades.
That being said, the scenes with Lewis as her son might have been strange with them both being relatively young.

Molly posted this picture on Instagram as Fastrada.
I'd say her make up and her natural strong facial features do age her well enough to play a believable mother of Erik Altemus. Kudos to her for making her broadway debut and successfully understudying for Charlotte d'Amboise!

Saw her as Fastrada Wednesday night, she was great! As others said, she looked very similar to Charlotte (her Fastrada speaking voice sounded very similar to Charlotte's, too), and didn't play too young at all.
Also, I thought I read on Twitter that Andrea Martin was out on Tuesday. Is that right and was anyone there? Curious to hear about her understudy.

This thread discusses Sabrina Harper as Andrea Martin's understudy. apparently she was good too, and she had all her "blocking" down, but of course, no one can beat Andrea Martin.
