re: Wait... More Regional Les Miz?

Elke, in response to your post, maybe they should look into having it in Sarasota, since ATOTC did so well there. They might take this suggestion, as it will probably sell out also. re: Wait... More Regional Les Miz?

re: Regional Les Miz - Oregon

The Broadway Rose production is being DIRECTED by Robert Hunt. Yay

Robert Hunt is one of the greatest, nicest, most gracious and appreciative Musical actors I've met.

p.s.

Here is not quite a review.

Is there a world you long to see?

re: Regional Les Miz - Oregon

I think the Wolf Trap production in Virginia is actually the tour not a regional production.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

It's a mini-tour.

That's really cool!

Why aren't any companies in CA doing the show? I'd like to see Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities stage it.

Well, there was Sacramento Music Circus last year and...where was Kevin Earley supposed to play Valjean before he got TotC?

re: Regional Les Miz - Oregon

I just saw the Weston Playhouse production (thank god for there being a wonderful theater only 30 minutes from where I live! hehe) last night- it was fantastic <33 Nearly Broadway calbre, for sure!

I'd forgotten and much I freaking love this show
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

The production presented in Quebec City at the Capitole Theatre is extended and will end October 19th, not August 31st.
