I love it! Finally he speaks out! John Rando and John Carrafa really need to be bitch-slapped!

Posted: 12/7/06 at 2:35pmYes, it certainly is. When I read that article earlier today I was very happy. Finally, Rando/Carrafa are getting some of their own medicine.

Posted: 12/7/06 at 2:45pmOwn medicine? Why are we siding with the theatres that copied their work? No matter who's work it was it is clearly wrong to steal other people's choreography and designs. We all know it's a problem that is happening all over the country too. Who hasn't seen a production of Into the Woods that was a carbon-copy of the DVD?

I think the point of this...is that Rando and Carraffa now have "dirty hands" so its hard to feel sympathy for them when they ripped off another persons work. I think even if you believe that the other theatre companies did plage thier work, which many of us do not believe...the problem now is that its the pot calling the kettle black.
