The cast of Edward Albee's "Seascape" gave such a moving performance this season. The play was beautiful.

Bruce Davison as John Merrick in THE ELEPHANT MAN. I got to meet Mr. Davison last year, and told him that his performance 25 years earlier still resonated deeply in my mind and heart.

This is the first time I've heard about a play about Mr. John Merrick. Hearing you talk about how moving it is makes me really want to see it. Mr. Merrick led a tough life and needs all the respect he can get.

Ok, sorry about the thread hijack.

tz - THE ELEPHANT MAN, by Bernard Pomerance, was the Tony Award winner in 1979 for best play (as well as being nominated for and receiving other awards.) It was revived in 2002 with Billy Crudup.

When Angel dies in RENT and Collins sings "I'll Cover You: Reprise." I cried so much I shook! The end of the show is also really moving, especially the last "No day but today." It has been my mantra ever since!

On My Own and Empty Chairs Les Mis, sung by anyone really. I adore both of them.

The finale from Miss Saigon.

'Goodbye Until Tomorrow/I Could Never Rescue You', The Last 5 Years...I adore it but still makes me sob. For some reaso 'If I Didn't Believe in You' does it too.

The first one that comes to mind for me is Maria Friedman in Woman in White (particularly the performance I saw the closing weekend) Her "all for laura" brought me to tears.
Another would be Victoria Clark in Piazza. Also, "Say it somehow" from Piazza gets me too
