Most Versatile Broadway Performers

"You pile up enough tomorrows, and you'll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays. I don't know about you, but I'd like to make today worth remembering." --Harold Hill from The Music Man

"Bernadette Peters. The variety of her roles never ceases to amaze me. "

There may be variety in the roles, but not in the way she plays them re: Most Versatile Performers

Raúl Esparza looks like Gerard Butler.

I'd throw Cerveris into this mix as well as Matthew Broderick. Nathan Lane is so one note. Broderick is ten times the performer he is.

"Raúl Esparza looks like Gerard Butler."

Umm...no. No one is as gorgeous as Gerry.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

Laura Benanti is extremely versatile as well, between the Wedding Singer and Into The Woods.

From Eva, to Reno, to Fosca, to Lovett. I'd say Patti is pretty damn versatile.

Ruthie Henshall - she is just WOW. She can go from dance musicals to dramatic musicals. From legit soprano to brassy belty alto.

Kelli O'Hara ofcoure. And oh, so many more.
