ASPECTS OF LOVE has a beautiful musical score - lyrical, romantic, and defines the characters singing them.
Some of Rodgers and Hammerstein scores are truly beautiful - CAROUSEL, OKLAHOMA! and SOUTH PACIFIC - very evocative of the setting in which the story takes place.
All the above have some gorgeous solo/duet pieces!

I'm surprised Titanic hasn't been mentioned. That is at the top of my list, along with I Love You Because, Ragtime, and La Cage.

I was going to say Falsettos because it does have so many lovely rhapsodic harmonies, but there is also some griminess to the score too.
With Irma you gotta do something!

When I think of beautiful scores, I think of the grand, lush sounds of Light in the Piazza, South Pacific, Carousel, and A Little Night Music.

I'd add Fanny to the list. I was enraptured by it at Encores and it gets more lush and gorgeous with every listen.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Am I really only, like, the second person to say West Side Story? That was the first thing I thought of.
On some consideration I'd add Company. Sorry/Grateful + Being Alive clinched it in my mind. That show gives me such shivers.

I would add Les Miserables along with all of these. Beautiful works of art! I find Spring Awakening and Next to Normal also beautiful in their own interesting unconventional ways!
