I'm assuming most of the seats for the first show were sold over the weekend to previous ticket holders whose shows were cancelled. Fortunately, I was able to grab one of the $99 mezzanine seats.

Got my ticket for Friday, Sept 24th - 2nd row Mezz. Very excited. It's just so frustrating that the pre-sale code gets sent out after the pre-sale starts. Not sure why that is. After I purchased my ticket, it says "mobile event only - must have cell phone to scan to enter the theatre."
I don't have a cell phone, so I emailed SeatGeek customer service asking how to get around that. No theatre is going to turn away a paid customer because they don't have a cell phone. I'm sure I can get the barcoded ticket at the box office to gain entrance. I'll deal with that the day of.

Looks like they're back to pre-pandemic pricing.
I'm going on October 10th. So far it is my 1st show post covid closure.
Is seat geek officially the group selling tickets

Is seat geek officially the group selling tickets for this show? I thought it was kind of weird that the presale was through that and not from Telecharge or Ticketmaster. Can't remember who was selling for that theater in general.
Marianne2, yes before COVID, it was Ticketmaster. And, before that, it was Telecharge.

So all of those people who had tickets booked a year ago when everything shut down- did they just get refunded and have to book from scratch again?
Yes, exactly. I had tickets for April and November of last year, and got automatically refunded.

Neilb1, I'm getting turned away for tickets to Alicia Keys, for no cellphone. ( I have an emergency tracfone??) Even though they have only sold 50% of the tickets, I was told that more than enough people have cellphones and they are not concerned with the few customers, like me, that don't.
That's lame. You both should be able to print your tickets at home and have them scan it. They don't need to touch it so I don't get the :safety protocol" nonsense.

Sutton, If it's mobile only, they don't make any exceptions. Hopefully, they will for Neilb1, since he already purchased his ticket. I hope he reports back. I'm curious what they do.
Yeah, that's not right to discriminate against customers because you don't have a cell phone, or at least a smart phone. I actually almost had issues buying on their app. I entered the presale code and it worked, but I started off with a message about there being no resale tickets available. Why would I be looking for those when I entered the presale code?

I contacted Jujhamcyn. Supervisor said they were NOT selling any orch seats at this time...only Mezz/Balcony. Also said the cafe seating below the stage would not be sold at all and a few front rows.
I can only guess if they're planning an "open house" kind of night in that orch is being set aside for folks other than the public. Perhaps family/friends of cast, celebs, etc. She would not say reason.
