Movie Musicals at this years Cannes Film Festival

I'm out in Cannes this weekend with work to buy a couple of movies and i was surprised that there were quite a few musicals or stage to screen projects being shown in different stages of production.
The biggest is probably 'Nine' which the Weinsteins are taking with them with about 30 mins of footage ready to view.
The rest include Fame,Rabbit Hole,Every Little Step,Dare,Telstar and a few very exciting movie musicals in pre production.
I'll send a report when I get back.
Clooney better get off my ****ing sun lounger

My partners there too Paul.
Have fun, not my favorite place.

Despite what people may think the festival is pretty grim. For every good film there is at least 50 **** ones. Not sure who's that agent for Passing Strange but i'll check it out
