THE PIRATE (not because it's a great movie; but there is something there well worth exploring further)
They tried. It failed. I saw it at the Prince Theatre in Philadelphia a few years ago.

Posted: 10/14/18 at 11:47amMrs Santa Claus with Angela Lansbury featuring music from Jerry Herman was always one of my favorite movie musicals. Since it has a holiday theme, I’m sure that’s what has prevented it from getting up on the stage. It would be a hard sell outside of the holiday season.
