While watching this movie the other night I couldn't help but think what a great show it could be. Has anyone else thought about it? Updated On: 10/6/03 at 09:21 PM

Or Patch Adams.
Hmmm...Maybe. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the movie, but I don't know if it would make such a good musical. I don't know if I would go see it. I guess it would depends on who's starring in it.

I could see a love duet between him and Rowena.
The Dream:
Holland:
The Dream of Song....
Rowena:
The Dream to Belong....
Holland:
The Dream must live on....
Both:
Beyond these harsh times, we must strive against the wrongs...
Can Tyrone Giordano play his son? Pretty pretty pretty please?!

That would be pretty cool on stage. Especially the part where Mr. Holland is singing at Cole's deaf school (is that politically correct? :c) With all the lights going with the music...I'd pay to see that.
OK.
Now I've read everything.

I thought that was such a great movie. I still cry during the Symphony at the end when he retires. Wow what a great movie. But a stage production? Hmmmmm.
I love that movie, but what about the scene where they realize Cole is deaf? They would need a very small (live) child in order to make some very important points; it would be so difficult to work with a toddler. But hey, if someone can make it work I would love to see it.
