I really excited for the CATS revival, but I do hope that Rum Tum Tugger does not rap like he did in the British  nearly revived version, apparently people did not like the new number. Hopefully they return the song to its original glam rock form.

I personally think the rap would benefit the show, as glam rock is no longer popular, and Rum Tum Tugger to me is the embodiment of everything popular and cool. Which makes the change so very meta when you know it was conceived in a post-"Hamilton" world. Now, that being said, I haven't heard the number, so I reserve the right to take this back.
