Does anyone have suggestions for a good musical theater podcast to listen to! I came across a new one called OffBook Radio. The hosts really work well together! Check it out!

I will happily suggest MusicalTalk - not that I am biased...

My two favorites are Theater People and Listen with Patty & Emily. I'll definitely be checking out the two you both mentioned, though.

I just listed to OffBook Radio's podcast (Ep:4-Valentine's Day) and found myself laughing at their entertaining banter and thoughts about musical theater's love songs from the past two decades. I am new to this forum and appreciate all the information! Will also check out Musical Talk! Thanks!

Yes!!! Theater People always has great guests and they have the best stories to tell about shows they were in. Love it!

Has anyone listened to this podcast yet? I thought this episode about hating musicals was interesting. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/dischord-figuring-out-music/id1116963380?mt=2&i=369273937

Not technically podcasts, but two great radio programs about musicals.
Broadway to Main Street: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/broadway-to-main-street/id1013282583?mt=2
On Broadway: http://broadwayradioprograms.com/podcasts.html.
They're both downloadable, with all the past shows online.

In descending order:
1. Theater People - Notice the trend, here? Patrick Hinds is definitely a “fan boy”, and it shows. His enthusiasm is part of why I enjoy his podcasts so much. The other reason I like them is because he prepares well. He also listens well, and in spite of how often he claims to be overly star-struck and nervous, his interviews always flow like friendly party conversation.
2. Pop Culture Happy Hour - Not exclusively theater, as they also discuss movies and TV.
3. Fresh Air - Most often the topics are political or “newsy”, but if a show or a performer are trending, Terry Gross will probably interview them. Gross is an amazing interviewer. Personally, I think it’s because she’s such a good listener, and is extremely well-prepared.
