BKLYN: The Musical

You pray to God it will end soon, begin cursing when you realize it keeps going and by the end you're speaking in tongues and puking green.

I wrote a paper on how JCS and Godspell interpreted the Gospel differently to serve different themes. One of my favorite papers I've written (although that was long ago).

The one real religious musical that I could suggest is "Joseph the Dreamer" by the Continental Singers.

All the rest, specially the secular ones, are sacriligious and Blasphemous.

Actually, I was going to suggest comparing Godspell and JCS because the first is very gospel-based and the latter... not so much. re: Musical theatre and Religous musicals.
