The idea is that the musical is a staged reading. Therefore, I don't believe that A Chorus Line, which relies largely on dance, would be the best choice for that type of format.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Margo, would they do a fairly recent show that naver made it to B'way like "A Man of No Importance", or do they steer towards older stuff?

Well, they did do Ahrens & Flaherty's My Favorite Year which flopped about ten years ago, so I guess Man of No Importance is a possibility (though still awfully recent).

George S. Irving has worked with them several times and at one time they were trying to mount up The Happy Time with him in the David Wayne role.

the original 1902 staging of The Wizard of oz was QUITE the hit and ran for a while and had several major tours... I'd be ineterested in a reading of that in NYC.
