#1Musicals Unintentionally Similar

This is a spin off of the "In the Heights = Latino Fiddler on the Roof" thread. Are there any other musicals that are similar unintentionally that come to mind. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of a single one.

EDIT: To be more specific

Both THE FANTASTICKS and SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE end Act 1 with the cast forming a pretty tableau, and start Act 2 with the cast fidgeting, struggling to stay in the pose.

And Into the Woods, but that obviously has a lot of elements of Sunday (actors, etc.)

Pretty is what changes. What the eye arranges is what is beautiful.

THE WILD PARTY & THE WILD PARTY. Both are about wild parties.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
