There have been many groups this competition season that have done songs from Next to Normal. For the past 5 weekends we have had competitions and atleast one group did a Next to Normal song. So far I've seen Am I the One, Light, I'm Alive, and Wish I Were Here. Some have been good and others have been horrid! Here is one I found on youtube

I was there on friday also, JoeKv99! I think they need to do something with Bebe's dress. When she danced I wanted so badly to see her feet. I thought the Tango/Sword Fight was very cool. Krysta and Wes were outstanding in my book. I thought they had the best songs... and mics. I thought the ending happened all to quickly. The song just wrapped everything up really quickly.

^ What did they use in the original production? When It came through my town my mom was so confused when the saucer came up. She now thinks the cats were waiting for a UFO to take one cat to their home plant.

So, for a voice recital I am singing "The Old Red Hills of Home." I don't quite understand how this song really ties into the show. Is it to set up where the story takes place? I tried reading the Wikipedia synopsis but became very confused with all the characters:/ Would anyone mind explaining it to me?
