What college do you go to?

My school (Marymount Manhattan College) is doing INTO THE WOODS this Spring, but I am working on something else.

I don't know if my college does one in the spring, but this past fall they did 'Drakula: the Rock Opera'. It was a North American premiere (and it wasn't very good at all...) I auditioned, but didn't get in. I'm quite happy about that, looking back lol

My school is doing Brigadoon...(2 thumbs WAY down) but, we just got a new head of the Musical Theatre Dept. and he's changing everything around. Next year we're doing the Lippa Wild Party, Pajama Game, and the following fall...Sideshow. I'm rather excited for those! Until then...BOOO

My school is doing The Mikado. I wasn't excited at first but now that we are in rehearsals I am really enjoying it. Plus our music director is AMAZING!!!!!!!

P.S. diva-you got to western? I know a handful of people there (Christine Werny, Catherine Dildilian, Paul Luoma.)

Good Luck with Brigadoon!!!!!!!!

I go to Oakland University in Rochester, MI.

Not this semester but Fall of '05 the University of Illinois (we only do musicals every-other-year re: Musicals in College! ) is doing "Nine." I mention it now 'cause I was just assigned assistant director and our first production meeting is this upcoming Tuesday. I'm STOKED!!!

Right now I'm in the ensemble/understudy for the Leading Player in "Pippin" (our mainstage production), Hartley in "Titanic" (our Music Theatre Ensemble), and one of the 3 reporters in "Floyd Collins" (student-directed project)...all of which is taking place at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA!

We're doing Little Shop of Horrors and Calamity Jane, here at the University of Liverpool (in England). We just finished FAME, and before that we did The Hot Mikado. They're all good shows and I'm having a lot of fun playing Seymour and Fryer. I was Joe in FAME and Ko Ko in The Hot Mikado. J'adore MT!

Is there anyone besides us on this board that ISN'T still in high school? Anyway, I'm currently doing a student production of "Assassins." In the fall, the theater department at my school (Indiana University) did "Bat Boy" (in which I wasn't cast, sniff sniff), and now they're doing "Pal Joey" (which I didn't audition for--not that I would have been cast anyway, because I can't dance for SH*T).

I go to Shorter College in Rome GA www.shorter.edu . Also for next year we're doing Proof, MidSummer, Cabaret and Les Miz possibly! But Honk and West Side Story are our 2 main stage musicals we have done this year and Last 5 Years and The Thing About Men were 2nd stage shows that we did this year.

We just finished William Finn's 'Elegies' and 'Brigadoon'

Now we're working on 'Merrily We Roll Along' and 'Side Show'

After those two we're doing "Is There Life After High School?"

Next year: "...Forum" "Crazy For You" "Floyd Collins" "Jane Eyre"

OMG! I love Merrily. It's an under rated show and it's very good when you do it right. We did that at my school last year, my first show here. Very difficult, but amazing

At Wells we're doing a combination of Paul Sills' stuff and our own personal fairy tale contributions, in a series of vignettes (with music added) called "Stories Told." It's going to be a crazy amalgomation, but I can't wait. It's coming together very well.
