I'm jumping on the bandwagon here and saying Wicked and RENT.
I just really love the lyrics and for some unexplainable reason they are really moving to me. Especially For Good from Wicked and What You Own from RENT.

Wicked
I tear up everytime I hear "for good"! I can really relate to the song. That sounds lame, I know, but it's true.

I can't believe 1 person has not said BROOKLYN
I mean come on guys. Though the show is kinda bad, the story is really sad. You try having a mother commit suicide, then not knowing your father. You finally think you found your father & this guy says "nope im not ur dad" wen he really is cuz HE DOES NOT WANT YOU. you finally find out he is your dad and the reasons why he doesnt want you. harsh. Then you go perform on a national stage and he doesnt show up and embarresses you infront of millions of people. Put yourself in that position. I think ya'll would be in tears.

So, we've went through 2 pages and not 1 person even mentions Q!?!?!?!
Well, for my literal terminology, Avenue Q has touched me...and thats because the very first time I saw it, I go a personal kiss from my good old pal Rod...and of course Johnny made the kissy sound so I got the best of both worlds...hehehe.
and Avenue Q touched me because it made me see people (especially gay people) in a different way than I did before....*sorry, I kinda stole that from someone but I give them credit, whoever it was...lol* But nonetheless, it's very true for Avenue Q!!! oh- I made a rhyme!! hehe
Ok- Well, *rolls eyes*, this crazy phycho here needs to do something productive, perhaps?? C-ya!

Definately Les Mis, Rent, and Miss Saigon... Especially the first time I saw each of them live...
Anyone else cry everytime at the end of Rent even though you know she isn't actually dead? Everytime I see it I am like "Why am I crying at this part?!"

I guess mine goes along w/ a lot of previous choices but oh well...
Wicked(For Good through the end of the show plus the curtain call the first time I saw it)
Rent(most of the show, particularly Angel's funeral)
Les Miz(surprisingly the only part that tends to get me is the line "to love another person is to see the face of God"
Miss Saigon(I cried through most of the second act, only to take a break during "American Dream" and then once the show ended I think it was the most I ever cried at a show)
Phantom(the show touched but the movie, seeing everything close up, really got to me at the end)
King and I movie at the end always makes me cry
And I played in the pit of my HS production of "Once On This Island", at the beginning I listened to the CD a lot and "A Part of Us" always got to me

How do you show emotion?
I remember seeing Blood Brothers on Broadway and I was quietly letting the tears swell in my eyes...when I noticed that the man sitting next to me was unabashedly crying, sniffing, tears all over his face and being very emotional. I felt like intruding when I glanced at him. But maybe because of what I saw, I let my tears actually fall. I guess I felt much better after that

I've thought very hard about this, but these are definately the shows that have had the most impact on me:
Dreamgirls (one of the first shows I heard)
Cats (my first show I saw)
Rent (opened my eyes to "the real world")
You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (helped me survive middle school)
Hairspray (helped me overcome my eating disorder)
Q (helped me overcome severe depression)
