Ok so i did Tarzan student rush on saturday and i got in. The seats were row w on the side. They were ok i saw everything except soome flying but i did not mind for this is my 2nd time seeing it.
Josh Strickland was amaizing as always. He never fails to amaze me. His voice is so clear and beautiful. I don't know if it was just me but I felt that Josh put so much more effort into yesterdays performnace.
Jenn Gambatese oh what can i say she was fantastick. She is a great actress and singer. My friends thought she was the best onoe in the show. Also she has great comedic timing.
Chester Gregory he is so entertaining. He delivers his lines with great timing and he has a voice thAT I COULD JUST NOT DESCRIBE ITS SO GOOD. ITs amaizing that he can sing upside down like that i tried to but i coldn't do it.
Merle Dandridge she is so beautiful. She really makes the role her own.She makes you sympathize with her and makes you have symphathy for Tarzan.Such a great actress and singer
Shuler Hensley ok this man is amaizing his voice is clear and so strong and his acting unbeleivable i really enjoyed his performance
Tim Jerome he does a nice job of the father like figure. Nothing else much to say about him
Donnie Keshwarz he really makes you think hes and ass the whole show. Hes a great actor
Alex Rutherford hes just so cute. he looks like hes having a blast
Curtain call. They did their talk about broadway fights aids. Josh wwas going nuts doing jumps and just going crazy it was funny and cute
Stage Door everyone came out Donnie was first he was so nice and said that we were a great audience.Next was josh he seemed sort of pissed but was nice anyway. Jenn came out and was so sweet as usual.Shuler comes out and just walks off never stays to sign but he does have the sharpie in his hand. Merle was next she was so frindly and beautiful. Some weirdo women asked if she had a mother because if not she would adopt her ? don't ask... Next was chester he was so nice when he came out everybody cheered he was so funny how he just stood their and was like whoa.
Well thats all it was a great show and i feel it has improved so much.
Seeing it January 14 & looking forward to it

wickedfanatic34- I'm glad you had fun. Sadly, my trip fell through. My friend's parents didnt want her to go because they thought she'd get raped. Since friend uno couldnt go, friend dos with the car couldnt go. I heart Jenn. I know she was amazing yesterday.
Wait, someone asked if they could adopt Merle?
I saw the show in August and thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!!!!!

Nice review. I especially liked how you spelled "fantastic" like the show, the fantasticks. Might want to fix your grammar.
Never say never. When I went Shuler Hensley not only stayed to sign, but was very friendly and funny. Had a great little conversation with my sister and I about absolutely nothing.
Glad you enjoyed the show for the second time. I'm hoping to see it again at some point. I wouldn't say it is the best show around, but I do think it is a lot of fun and has some really talented people in it.
are student rush tickets difficult to get? what time did you get to the theater to get the tickets?

I have seen Tarzan a few times, the most recent was a week ago. I have thoroughly enjoyed the show at each performance that I have attended. I have noticed an evolution (no ape pun intended) in the performances of these very talented cast members. I loved the show and the cast from the first time that I saw Tarzan, the musical, and am pleased to say that my appreciation of them has become even greater as I have seen these very talented people continually developing their roles. My appreciation of the cast of Tarzan includes not only their outstanding performances onstage, but also their extreme friendliness to their fans at the stage door and around town. Tarzan was my introduction of Theatre to my niece, and it will always be an important show in our family.
