She is short, probably 5'2" at best. If you think that's bad, the first production of ACL I did back in 1994, the girl who played Connie was hispanic & about 5'5". According to our director, only two asian girls auditioned and neither of them could dance.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I know they change her name to Connie MacKenzie, but I have no idea what they do about the 4'10" and 'peanut on pointe' lines. I'd be interested to see...

Nothing changed during the production I did. Unless they cut her number all together, but then Connie would still need to talk to Zach about something.

Yeah, Michelle is not big. I was going to guess 5'2" or 5'3". I'll try to remember to ask her when I see her next. And also what they plan on doing when she does go on as Connie. I don't think little Yuka is invincible to disease! re: My A Chorus Line Review

Yeah, there have been quite a few understudies on lately. Everyone's been sick! Deidre Goodwin was having such a hard time containing her coughs during "What I Did For Love" on Friday. I felt so bad for her! I hate that feeling and I told her afterwards that I was willing her lungs and body to calm down. She said she had been out the two nights before.

On Friday, Ken Alan was out too, along with Charlotte, so I got to see David Baum go on. He was good. Not quite the pizazz that Ken has, but still really good. He's a nice guy too!

And Broadway Matt mentioned Grant Turner. Well, he ended up going on toward the end of the matinee on Saturday. I think it was about the time they were pairing off. But I went to look for Brad and was like, woah! That's not him! Grant did a great job covering though. He, too, is a nice guy...and has a cool Australian accent too! :)
