I think there is going to be a recording. It's supposed to be out in April or something.

yes as of now they plan on recording it April 4th acording to playbill.com. Heres the artical:

I'm definately planning on buying the soundtrack. Saw this show last Saturday. Great show. Great cast. I saw Jenn in Footloose, she was good in this as well, but I didn't really get to hear her sing until now. She has a great voice.

I liked it. I also liked Good Vibrations since it was fun, but "All Shook UP" was much better. Guess I'm easy to please!

I'm sure they'll do a cast recording, but the show is still in previews. They'll probably record in a few months.
