My Eyes! Georgy Girl (Australia)

No, not the failed musical adaptation of the movie and book.  There apparently was a biomusical of The Seekers who sang Georgy Girl.  I got a note to watch this clip - and at first, I thought it was a joke - a parody - but a well-executed one.  But, alas, a little digging revealed that this was an Australian production.  

I know we have some Australians on this board who maybe can explain how this happened.
