Hey everyone! I've never reviewed a show on the board before, but I thought I would try it out. My reviews aren't going to be anything like the great, in depth reviews most people post, but I just thought it would help to have another opinion for those trying to decide what shows to see or something.
"I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change"- I know this is an old one that a lot of people have seen, but it was my first time seeing it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've had the cd for a couple of months, but it was a lot better in person. I had a standby for one of the women roles, but she was fantastic.
"I Love You Because"- My 2nd "I Love You.." show haha. My mom and I got a table, and we were the only ones at a table which was sort of embarassing haha. We were right there next to the stage. The show was FANTASTIC. All of the music was great. There was a fly on stage and Colin Hanlon(I think that's right) had to smack Farah(Marcy) on the head to kill the fly haha. It was great. Afterwards, the cast had a talk back, and I was the only one to ask a question. I asked what kind of advice they had for aspiring actors and all of them gave great advice.
"The Drowsy Chaperone"- Because I am a HUGE Sutton Foster fan my opinion on this show is probably biased. I really enjoyed it though. It was hilarious, the dancing was fun, and I liked most of the music. "Show Off" and "Toledo Suprise" were the two stand out numbers in my opinion. Jesse Tyler Ferguson was a row behind me for the show which was REALLY exciting.
"The Pajama Game"-I expected this to be the best show out of the ones I saw this week, but it was actually my least favorite. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing production, but I just don't think I'm a huge fan of the show. We had an understudy for Mae due to Joyce Chittick having appendicitis, and we had the new Poopsie b/c Jen Cody is doing a tv pilot in LA right now. The new Poopsie(i can't remember her name) was GREAT though. Kelli O'hara was amazing. Harry Connick Jr. was good, but you can tell he thinks so. At the stage door, we weren't allowed to take pictures OF him which I found very weird. If anyone could explain why that would be great.
"The Wedding Singer"-I planned on this show being HORRIBLE. Most of the reviews I've read made me think it would be bad, but it was my favorite show I saw this week. I loved it from begginning to end. The cast was great, the music and choreography was fun, and the book stuck pretty true to the movie.
Sorry that these reviews weren't too great, but I just wanted to share my opinions.

I also loved "I love you, you're perfect..." your style for writing is just what this board needs, "very straight to the point" i get asleep with some of these long reviews. Just my opinion.
