My Maria Friedman Project! (New Pics added)

So as some of you know, I am seeing Maria at the carlyle on the 26th. Now, as one of my favorite performers, I have thought about giving her some nice gift or something, but then I decided I would be creative and make something. I am going to make her a memory book of pictures from her past shows with quotes and sayings...Basically make it look really nice. Anyone who wants to help by giving me pictures or quotes, is welcome to! Good Idea, no?

that post reminded me of some Oz Kids post a while back about how she spent all this time making a super detailed scrap book for idina...

i just thought it was cool to see other people have such dedicated fans. And you don't have to have weird breathing habits while belting to win over a fanbase

well Fabrizio (from our board) is making her a scrapbook as well, so she will recieve two scrapbooks within less than a week of each other!

Man! How I wish I had seen her as Roxie and as Fosca!!!

Too bad, she didn't come over for a few months for CHICAGO, but I guess she wouldn't have wanted to be a replacement.

At least, there's the LOC of Passion to treasure.

Okay, so with Fabrizio's help, mine is becoming a scrap/memory book, as well as a fan memory book. If you would like to write a letter to Maria for me to insert in the book, please private message me with it. Once the final product is done, pictures will be taken and shown before the gift is given!

I just started mine! I got supplies today after school and began work. Here are some pictures of my unfinished Passion Page!









I am going to work a lot on it this upcoming weekend. Going to have pages for Chicago, Witches, WIW, Lady in the Dark, and then a home sweet home and welcome to NY and Feel Better page. Also, I am still accepting fan notes and letters to add into the book, as well as pictures. If you have anything you want to add in, PVT me!

I basically just made a box with a collage of pictures and then glued a bunch of sparkly stuff on there like gold beads, fake pearls, diamonds, etc... I can;t figure out what to put INSIDE the box...any suggestions?
