You guys are gonna think I'm nuts but I called her agent, and basically he said that she likes small things like "trinkets", candles, flowers, chocolate...nothing big he said.

i love maria!!!

and we just a had a relay for life (cancer thing) less than a week ago, and my sister made a luminaria (its a bag with a candle inside) that was made in honor of her for being a cancer survivor (and an awesome star) :)
