My Trip

I had a fantastic time in NYC this weekend, seeing four shows in 2 1/2 days:
Rigoletto at the MET - While not on/off broadway, this was quite a fantastic opera, beautiful singing and incredible scenery. I'm also very fond of the "Met Titles" machines in front of every seat. My seats in the rear orchestra were fantastic (thanks to all who gave me the heads up about the great view/sound from the seats).
Mrs. Farnsworth - Sigourney Weaver, John Lithgow, Danny Burstein and the rest of the cast were all spectacular, incredible and absolutely amazing. However, I do not think that it will work in a larger venue if it ever moves to Broadway/Off Broadway, and I do not think that the play itself is worthy of moving to a larger house. It really has no point. However, the first 45 minutes, with Weaver and Burstein playing off of one another was fantastic. Second row seats were fantastic (the theatre is general admission - I got lucky).
The Boy From Oz - Hugh Jackman is incredible, and talented beyond belief. The rest of the cast is also very good (particular Beth Fowler as Peter's Mother, Mitchell Federan as Young Peter and Michael Mulharen as the Manager - Stephanie Block & Isabel Keating were also good). However, I thought that the first act was rather slow, and not tight enough. The second act is very very good, much tighter. Hugh did "Bi-Coastal" twice at the start of the second act - first normally, and secondly with an Easter Rabbit a woman from the audience had given to him - fantastic. 4th row center front mezzanine seat (sec. 2) was perfect.
Avenue Q - Easily among the best shows on Broadway right now, and most definitely one of the best things I have ever seen. Funny, poignant and totally enjoyable. I hope that this wins the Tony for Best New Musical, and it runs for a very long time. An amazing show. Row J 120-124 were great seats for the show.
Hope to be back soon!!!

Also, lots of thanks to everyone who gave me advice on all seating. Everything was perfect. If anybody needs help/seating recommendations for any of the above shows, do not hesitate to ask.
Also, may I recommend Vince & Eddie's restaurant if anyone is seeing something in Lincoln Center for dinner.
