It went 110% better then I thought. I saw Marry Poppins on Broadway. The whole "main" cast was present and accounted for. I was so thankful cause it has been stressing me for weeks for some who know. The only disappointment was she *SPOILERS* did not fly at the end but I got my picture taken with Gavin at the end. I then went to John pizzeria and It was mediocre at best. But I guess its a hit or a miss with restaurants. Once again I paid for more merchandise than the tickets themselves :/ so thanks for all the advice in choosing seating (which went pretty well) and a place to eat. BUT most of all all the reassurance to me that the cast would be there. Goodnight!
I have a question...what do they do when she doesn't fly? Does the she just walk on/off or something?

No, she dances off in a conga line. Very effective.

I believe she just walks off.
Like when Elphaba can't fly.
I can't wait until I go in June or August. My trips in one of those months, exact date hasn't yet been set! Can't wait!!!

I can't wait for March or April. Don't know what I'm doing then, but I'm sure it'll be awesome!

Does she know ahead of time she can't fly or is it one of those "Ashlee Simpson-caught-in-the-act" moments where Mary just defaults into a classless "jig."
Wait, she chooses when she wants to fly?

I was at the first preview where there was no flight.
She walks off like she always does, something bad happens to the wires out of view from the audience, they DO NOT stop the show, and they just have the lighting effects fill the theatre, with the family standing there looking out at the "sky." Unfortunately, the day I went, when she did not fly, the crew, being unexperienced from such a thing happening, attempted to have her fly from down stage right, with they themselves coming on the stage. They attempted to this with the loud music and crazy lighting. They ended up taking her off stage and just finishing the show without stopping. I don't think they'll ever do that again unless something happens during the flight...I heard at the stage door they got an earful for what they did.
When I saw it, she flew and it was pretty much one of the most amazing effects I've ever seen in a show.
i thought the show was spectacular even though she did not fly. It was very practically perfect in every way.
I still think without the GRAND FINALE flying scene the play itself....., dialogue, music, voices, talent, acting , costumes, and scenery were all magical
