My Wicked and TCP Review

Heres my Reviews

Wicked May 29th
The Good:
Kendra and Julia worked amazing together. They had such a good chemistry and you could tell they had fun with their roles. Julia was off the change and i love how she made Elphaba her own truly a diva. Kendra would add little inserts of her own that would not only crack her up but julia and eventually the audience.

The Bad:
During "Loathing"-idk if it was sauppose to happen but it sounded like julias mic was higher than kendras because no one understood what she was saying. Also-ther was time where i could tell the green light they have on julia was starting to flicker and eventually went out and was replaced during intermission. Also-Julia's voice sounded a little scratchy-it came clear during THE WIZARD AND I -rumor was flying around that she had a sore throat. But she still rocked. Overall a A+ Performance

The Color Purple May 30th

The Good: Let me start with Fantasia. What can say but WOW! She was amazing and pulled the part of extrememly well. I was very worried because i thought-if she cant play her self how can she play someone else but she was great and i loved how she added some of her self to the songs she sung. Natasha as Sofia was amazing and funny. and Yvette as Shug was hilarious.

The Bad: During the first act-something had to have been wrong with the speakers because no one could hear anything-you could hear just couldnt make out what it was saying. But in the second act it was clear as day. Overall a B performance

If you saw Wicked Tuesday night, I saw the same performance as you. It truely was amazing!
