I'm not saying brown hair is a big deal, people. I'm just saying she's all upset about it. Don't yell at me. *cries*
no one is yelling at you, i don't think we understand what color hair she would have if it weren't brown ... i'd love to be the first blonde christine though, that'd be fine with me :)

I just saw this amazing cast as well and I must say I went into Phantom expecting to hate it(not an ALW fan) but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. These people are great!
I hate the show. Maybe if Max came with me, I would like it. What does Max look like, by the way? Details please, before I buy the tickets.
Thanks

Awww...I'm so glad that some of you had a change of heart about POTO after seeing the current Bway cast! And yes, Hugh Panaro is AMAZING...in all aspects! :)

Phantom, it ties for first place with Hairspray and Wicked.
The touring cast was BRILLIANT. I had front row seats to it for Broadway in Chicago, my friend and I were crying during All I Ask of You, and I was trembling in Phantom of the Opera. Stupid Raoul... Erik did nothin wrong, except become psychotically over protected.
But, the Touring cast is the one to see. It brought me back to my opera roots. Gary Maur is brilliant as Erik.

I thought the touring cast made it much more enjoyable. Personally, i liked row A mezzanine the best for phantom, because of the chandelier and everything, and i got the whole experience more. ted keegan was a really good phantom, but i liked hugh better. for the tour, there were two alternated christines, and i saw one of them, marni raab. she was AMAZING, and she made sandra joeseph look like she came out of a school production! i didn't like sandra very much...
i saw both ted keegan and brad little on the tour when it came on separate occasions... ted was really good, but i liked brad better. rebecca pitcher was christine and i think she made the role seem more tragic in having to make so many decisions.
Just to clear up the hair color deal, in the Leroux novel she is blonde.
I know, I'm just cool like that.

Marni Raab is excellent. She also looks like an animé character.
Whatever happened to her? I was surprised she didn't stick around as Christine longer than she did.
YAY! Glad you liked it!

I adore POTO, and I have to agree that I'm totally worried about the movie. I mean are they going to sing the entire thing like the show or are they going to try to doa written script and throw in the big songs? And if they do sing the entire score will audiences really be into that? I feel like this might be sketchy.....
"yeah, it's like she just disappeared."
Apparently she'll be Christine in the Shanghai production, along with Brad Little.
