My thoughts on Grease Revival

I finally saw the revival of Grease a week beofre the strike started.

I do think that it was not one of Marshall's best works but I think that there was a reson for it. I think that the reason was that it was clear by watching the dance parts that she did the chorgorphy in her head prior to the final casting. She didn't know if the people playing danny or sandy had good dance experence so she tried to make it simple as possible.

The problem with that is that it looks to obvious. She made the show about them and not about the rest of the cast. Yes Max and Laura are playing the leades in the show. But, the way that she was directing it took away from the other great preformances onstage.

winston that was only 1 of many many problems why that revival is a mess
