in this show they use cell phone and land line. he gets calls on both.

Mamet can write clippy, naturalistic sounding dialogue but he can't write women for beans. He hasn't a clue.

This play is pretentious crap and unworthy of one's time.

I was once asked to be on a panel to respond after a university production of this play and opposite me was a Prof. from the English department. I ripped the play to shreds. The turn came to hear from the English prof. It was funny because there was no big debate; he agreed with me.

No matter how "brilliant" an actor's performance or interpretation of this crap is, it is still crap, I am always hearing the play underneath. I wouldn't waste any time to go see that again.
