Unless this is for charity, why would someone pay $50-$125 for this?
But also this isn't wise on his part because someone in the audience is going to ask about the the MJ allegations the the production and everyone involved goes out of their way to gloss over. If I were him, I would cash his check, use his Tony to open doors for new projects and then never look back. There's a reason the Broadway community is very hesitant actually talk about and embrace MJ despite it being a massive financial success.
