Posted: 2/2/06 at 10:40pmOk, this is a production for exceptionally talented people, andI just got in! So now, time to prepare for the audition for a part...I want to be Rosa. I'm a legit soprano up to a Bb5, and can play ingenues or characters.

Isn't that a waste of time? Why not just cast based on the auditions you already had?
Also, are all productions under the stipulation that they will only cast exceptionally talented people?

Okay, my first post sounded really dumb. Let me explain...
At this summer camp, there's a Musical Repertory Program. About 10% of auditioners make it. And I made it! You audition for the program, then over the summer on the first week on camp, you audition for specific parts.
