Anthony Federov as Joseph. Really? Really? I'll pass.

Guys and Dolls is a co-production with Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre (per Ordway's website). Both companies co-produced Cabaret a couple years ago.

N2N tour announced for St Paul in 2011!

This gives me hope that the 5th Avenue (who incidentally has not announced next season yet, as they are still only halfway through their current season, but I expect them to announce their season by the end of March or early April) will get N2N as a tour stop. I know that N2N planned on doing longer stays at each stop, and The 5th Ave typically presents all of it's shows (local produced and tours) for at least 3 weeks. I am super excited if this does happen.

Also, I wonder if the 5th Ave would like the fact that it's kinda "leaked" that "Guys and Dolls" will be coming out of there (probably as their late fall or "Christmas" show, if Ordway is presenting it in June). I'm excited to see it if it is indeed a new production instead of a tour of the last revival.

Also, "Joseph" with Federov played at the 5th Ave (with our own local cast). He's alright, nothing too special, but also not too over the top showy as people can be on American Idol (though I don't watch AI, so I wouldn't really know). Hopefully they'll give him a better wig, as he had a couple of different ones (a "wavy" haired long blond wig for promo pics, and a straight blond one for the actual show), but neither really worked for him.
Xanadu! Can't cry on cue!
