So, I will be in NYC in the next few weeks for about a week, taking a long needed break and already have some tickets in hand for some shows. I just need some guidance on what else I should see...
I already have tickets to Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Alter Boyz, and Chitty.
Should I see Putnam County Spelling Bee, Brooklyn, Charity, La Cage, Piazza, Steel Magnolias, All Shook Up...HELP!
I think I have the time throughout to see five more shows...just what exactly?? Any guidance and thoughts would be appreciated!

I would reccomend seeing at least one straight play. The Pillowman is probably the best thing going on Broadway right now, but that might be too intense. Doubt, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, and Julius Caesar (wait right until the day before or the day of the show, and you can get great seats) are good options too.
Well, I love GOOD theatre. I want a show that will make me laugh or make me think, or both! Pull the ole' heart strings, ya know?
make sure you see all shook up
You have to see BROOKLYN,
feel it for yourself!
Also, check these sites about BROOKLYN, and hear some songs first..

well, I havent seen Spelling Bee or Steel Magnolias yet, and Sweet Charity isnt here yet so I cant say much about them positively or negatively. Of the other three- La Cage, Piazza & ASU... I would probably drop La Cage out of those three. Especially since Daniel Davis was fired. Tho, some people arent expecting Charity to be received well. Tough choice. I feel like itd be easier to extend your trip and see em all :)
All Shook Up and Piazza
Definately Spelling Bee if you can get the tickets!! that show will be the talk of the town very soon.
enjoy the Altar Boyz!!
Spelling Bee!
And if that's not possible...I really enjoyed La Cage.
I will for sure book Spelling Bee and most definitely Piazza. I have heard so many mixed reviews on BROOKLYN i may just have to see it for myself to be the judge!
