Did anyone see Nerds in Philadelphia? We are planning a trip in May and there are so many shows we want to see. Trying to decide if Nerds should make the cut. I'm specifically curious if it's offensive at all. Sometimes when things are a farce they can be a little over the top.

So far this is on our list for May to consider: Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen, American Psycho, Tuck Everlasting, School of Rock, Nerds.

We saw Hamilton in September and loved it. Wish I could afford seeing it again. Any insight you could all offer would be appreciated.

WORDS TO LIVE BY:

As we stumble along on life's funny journey. As we stumble along into the blue. We look here and we look there, seeking answers anywhere. Never sure of where to turn or what to do.

Still we bumble our way through life's crazy labyrinth. Barely knowing left from right nor right from wrong. And the best that we can do is hope a blue bird, will sing his song as we stumble along.

Definitely American Psycho if you're worried about offensiveness.

Here's the thing - I'm not afraid to be offended. I've seen just about every show you can see. I just like to know what I'm getting into. I'm not a huge fan of explicit language for no reason. And I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of violence in American Psycho, but I've seen Sweeney Todd. That's pretty murderous.

I'd love to learn more about American Psycho. So on the fence on that one.

I wouldn't group American Psycho with the same potential to offend as shows like Avenue Q or The Book of Mormon. It really is more like Sweeney Todd in that sense. When it is funny it's dark humor not puppet sex or rape jokes.
