the show is $15 ($10 for BWW members) and there is a $12 minimum! show up, pussow!

OK...so I'm biased. He's my husband. But that doesn't change the fact that this show is absolutely wonderful...and apparently, someone else agrees.

John Hoglund of BACKSTAGE raves:

Just for BWW members, the normal $15 cover charge is slashed to $10 (plus a $12 food/drink minimum). There are two shows left; Friday, May 20 and Friday May 27, both at 9:30. The show is at The Encore located at 266 W. 47th Street (bet. Broadway and 8th Ave.) Reservations can be made by calling 212-221-3960.

Just bumping this thread in honor of the show's one night only return before it begins an open ended run in mid-October. I am going tonight and I am very much looking forward to it.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I didn't make it into the city in time, but my husband was at the show and said it was "superb and even more polished" than when he saw it in the spring. And that's coming from a guy who pre-Neurotica wouldn't have been able to identify a Madonna song as such, and now he's lobbying for a CD of Neurotica.

Seriously, for those of you BWW people who have not seen this show yet, when it returns, you absolutely must. It was fun, it was funny, the arrangements are glorious, the voice is even more glorious. And to go along with the humor, there's a showstopping rendition of Oh Father that actually brought a tear to my eye.
